great looking bell, works well, although had to get some slightly longer bolts to fasten to my bars even though I used a vernier caliper to ascertain dimension of the bar prior to ordering
Very nice and slim design with a sonorous and friendly sound.
I bought his bell to replace a Oi Bell. The ringer on the Oi Bell comes off sometimes and stops working the Luxe Bell seems to be made better.
I love my Oi Luxe in small. It fit perfect right in-between brake clamp and shift cluster and my grip, on my race face carbon bars. Love the sound this thing makes.
My handle bar's specified diameter turned out to be only for the very centre of the bars, so I had to mount the large bell I bought at the centre, just across from the Frog headlight. That position actually keeps my left hand position free, but means I need to lift my hand to ring the bell. So far that is perfectly functional, and encourages proper bell use.
The bell itself is very handsome on the bike. It's also very easy to ring just by feel, so you don't need to look down even when you have to move your hand.
The ring itself is excellent, just the right loudness and pitch with a lovely tone. People responded consistently well to the ring, which is always the acid test.
The only concern I have is that the brass bell part is attached to the clamp by a flat steel spring (which allows it to resonate so beautifully), which feels much weaker than the rest of the unit--I just wonder how robust that part is.
