I’ve worn out 5 bells due to tons of riding in pedestrianised areas over a decade or more. Took me awhile to get my head around paying >$50 for a bell, but it’s been worth it. Two years later and after almost daily usage, it’s as good as Day 1 (with one tiny exception), and I’d happily buy it again.
Two suggestions for improvement. The little screw rusted and my LBS replaced it with a non-rusting alternative when they serviced my bike. Also, I can’t mount it as close to my thumb as I’d like on my flat handlebars (fine for road bars) because my handgrips are slightly too bulky. It mounts fine to the flat bar itself, but this means I have to take my hand off the handlebar and move my thumb an inch to ring the bell, while taking my eyes off the path. Sounds minor, but that 1/2 second makes a difference in terms of preventing accidents and me maintaining my balance.
I have really been enjoying the oi! Luxe. I had the standard one for several years and love how the luxe steps it up.

I like that this bell is very low profile and compact, but very loud. It has no issue carrying over a block away, and no oversized bowl sticking out of my handlebars.
Great bell! Does not stick out of the bike like most bells. Its loud and a very clean ding to it.
