So bright it’s blinding to be around. Probably perfectly effective on road, but might not be appreciated by any bikes behind you.

Great Light, but attachment bracket is insecure

I’ve owned 4 different Knogg lights, and in terms of brightness, battery life and water resistance they are all excellent. However, I’ve had the lights vibrate out of their bracket on 3 different occasions, with 3 different Knogg lights. On one occasion the light fell on the road and was promptly run over and destroyed by a car. On another I didn’t realise the light was gone until I got home, and I was unable to find the light when I retraced my journey. On the third occasion I successfully retrieved the light. In each case I was commuting on city roads, on a road bike.

The loose attachment to the bracket is a definite design flaw - affecting multiple generations of their products over >5 years. I can’t recommend these lights to other people, at this price point, solely because of this issue. You could use an additional lanyard or band to secure it (as I am now doing) - but you shouldn’t have to - other brands don’t have this issue.

Love the light, easily seen and love how the light raps around so it can be seen from the sides.

Battery life not great

The light is bright and effective . However, battery life is less than claimed and the proprietary charging cord is a pain in the rear. Frankly , had hoped for better.

'purposefully designed to demand attention from all angles. Ride confidently with Cobber.'
