Bought this with little care about brightness specs, just wanting to have some light during night city riding, but I recently found myself biking along unlit park trails at 10PM. I was thankful that the “high beam” setting was powerful!
After it's fallen out a couple of times you really learn and know how to place the light on the holder!

Yes, the light output is very bright. I'm sure I'll be noticed...IF I can manage to get the light to actually clip onto the handlebar clip. So far, I can get either side of the clip to latch but I cannot get the second side of the clip to positively latch and hold the light in place. Second, I could not for the life of me figure out how to get the light into the blink, strobe, and Eco modes until I visited the Knog website and looked at the User Manual. Apparently there was enough budget to include stickers for this and other products, but not the budget to include "double-click" the mode button for a second layer of output mode? That omission was disappointing.
Excellent bike light. Battery life better than I expected. GoPro style mount is very solid.
