works fine very bright
I love the clamp lever
I think the people who find it loose are using wrong, putting it in the wrong spot or not pushing the clip the right way because it's super secure for me. Maybe they're not all made equal? 🤔
I have owned and used the mount for 4 weeks, I ride on predominantly good quality tarmac roads. No major bumps or any off-roading.
The mount fails to grip the light securely and with general road vibrations on longer rides the light will slip and move in the mount. On my last commute the light fell out completely and sustained a decent amount of damage with the rear cover coming off. If you plan to buy 1 good quality light that you hope will last 2+ years, use this mount with either the additional security of electrical tape or zip ties to avoid the disappointment that I now have.
Just received my first Blinder light. At first I thought the GoPro mount was going to be great and liked the way in locked in place. But during rides the light slides around, usually forward in the mount and I have to keep pushing it back. I noticed a tiny piece of rubber in the mount which I assume is supposed to help grip the light in place but it doesn't work. I guess I will try to glue a thicker piece of rubber in there to secure the light.
