Once armed, any movement of a KNOG x EF Scout fitted Bike will trigger the motion-sensitive audio alarm discouraging any further movement and alerting the bike's owner, both by the sound of the alarm and via a notification that is automatically sent to the owner's iPhone (when in Bluetooth range).
Then in a scenario where a bike fitted with KNOG x EF Scout is not where the owner has left it, it can be quickly located using Apple's network via the Find My app.

Ideal for parking the bike near by while stopping for a bite. I’m not sure I would go far from it only because of the time it would take for me to get to it.
Everything works perfectly
The Scout Bike Alarm and associated Knog app are easy to set up and use. Once connected and registered, the Scout can be armed and disarmed from the Knog app. The location of the Scout can be tracked via the Apple Find My app.
I prefer the stealth mounting option under a bottle cage mount. There is an overt mounting option where the presence of the Scout is advertised by a Hi-Viz cover.
When the Scout is armed, an audible alarm sounds and an alert flashes on my mobile.
The combination of ease of use and the 85dB motion-sensitive alarm gives me peace of mind during café stops and when my bike is in storage.
I highly recommend the Scout Bike Alarm.
This is my second scout alarm and finder, easy to configure and install. The EF colour way adds a splash of colour. Thanks Knog!!
I really like the functionality of this device, it's a nice slim fit too so not over powering. The only point I want to make is when will it be ready for Android, there's a huge market out there and I am attached to it!
I have to carry my old apple phone around with me just for this app, KNOG hurry up before a competitor sees a gap in the market and brings out a better device for Android users.
