Mid Cobber Front Bike Light

I've been sporting these for a month, and honestly they're the best bike light I've had, especially when compared to more "premium" brands like Garmin.

I saw a colleague at work with one of these and thought wow, that is an insanely effective light for commuting through the city. After I purchased I found the comparison to my old light is literally like night and day! Such a brilliant product, thank you team Knog!

Excellent light, night or day!

So as a fan of the size and output and overall design of the Cobbers range (we are 6 cobbers in now) i was looking forward to the front white with some options on flashes intensity etc.
ON first try, the light output was good, and connecting up to the app to set options for the flashes etc was very straight forward. However, as has ahppened with a previous Cobber, the battery doesnt seem up to it with the light lasting less than 30mins on flash after the first full charge. Two rounds of the manual reboot later it now lasts maybe 1 - 1.5 hrs between charges, which is pretty suboptimal.
in a general design perspective the positioning on the fork tube works like a dream, however the curve on the back side could be gentler as most of these are a greater diameter than seatposts for the rear red.

Average fastening strap. Very hard to fit and remove light. Which needs to happen more frequently than you’d prefer due to battery life. Also, both of my family computers block the Knog software required to change the flash modes to allow the light to be used horizontally on handle bar. Means I can’t use this light…

Lights are Bright, Look fantastic and are well made! Highly recommended!

Good size for my head tube… and VERY bright and I like the 9 or so different light options. I haven’t tired the custom programs yet, but so far it does exactly what I bought for - it makes me more visible. A bit hard to reattach at time. Hope it won’t break in the future. But seems to be solidly make.

Great light, fit’s handlebar well and really like the programmable modes.

Used on a commuter ride on pretty well lit and busy streets during peak hours. Great for being seen, including by cars on side roads and junctions.

I love this light, it’s super bright and when mounted vertically offers a better wide amount of visibility.

The Mid Cobber is exactly the light I was needing and looking for to go on the headtube of road bike. Lightweight, aerodynamic and multiple flash patterns are what I wanted to keep me noticed coming back home at sunset.
I recommend checking out the Customized modes available on Knog's Modemaker app.

This is a great, bright light and it seems to keep its battery quite well. Only thing that’s impractical is re-attaching the light to its holder, this is a bit finnicky, mainly because of the USB plug being in the way.

Great product in a small and good package. The programs are awesome. Will buy more for my other bikes

With increased bike accidents at intersections in my city, this front light is great. It is powerful and, best of all, has a 330 degree arc. I recommend it.

I bought this because I wanted to be visible better than I was. I always have lights on in the dark (and the twilight) but I'm often overlooked by traffic coming from the sides. That's why I bought this light. It works fantastically! There's just one things 'missing': when the road is dark I need an additional light to see where I'm going. That's just not what this light is (designed) for.
