I have two Knog's batteries. Very convenient for charging both without additional cables. Very fast delivery from Australia to Poland ;).
Ugh. I want to love Knog. Bought this unit to charge two PWR trail battery packs (medium). Have gone to insert both into the charging unit and it has bent the pins in the packs therefore rendering the battery packs unchargable- even with a cord… So now I’m without two battery packs, and a way to charge my PWR trail lamps. Knog have been responsive in the past replacing products but I don’t want to have to have every item I’ve bought replaced.
Hi Jes, thanks for letting us know. It sounds like the battery packs were inserted the wrong way round which has bent the pins. If you get in touch with our team at hello@knog.com.au we'll sort you out.
I have a good number of Knog PWR units and this is a very easy and efficient solution to keeping them charged and ready. Does not take up much space. Works with different power inputs including Solar Chargers for backcountry needs.
I've used the PWR system as a headlamp on my bike for many years. I recently got back into backpacking and took one as a combo flashlight/backup battery in case I needed to charge my headlamp or phone when we got off of the trail.
The ONLY complaint I have about the PWR system is that it can be a bit of a challenge finding a USB adapter that outputs enough current to charge the battery. This has ALL been resolved with this dock! I have 3 of the batteries now and I can charge two of them no problem AND it's nice and compact so I can set it off to the side in my office where it doesn't need to interact with anything aside from the same outlet I used for my single battery charger. I only wish this came as part of a package with some of the PWR systems.
Its a neat dock. Sure, its not really necessary given that they're just USB charging, but it looks nice on the shelf.
