... But it could be a lot worse. The plastic hook for strap broke after a few weeks of use. I'm pretty hard on my gear but this strap and hook closure seems to have QC or design issues. This is unfortunate for Knog because the cylinder that makes up the light itself feels really sturdy, has good specs for road and light offroading especially at $28, and has great battery life. I'm working on rigging it up bolted to a bracket which is bolted to a PDW headset spacer or rack mount, not ideal but it might work. I wouldn't recommend this light unless you like tinkering and don't mind needing separate mounting hardware.
This light is great. Haven't tried it out on a long ride so I'm not sure about the battery life, but the beam is extremely bright and I like that you can charge other devices with it. My only qualm is that the mounting strap is extremely short - I've actually used a spare strap from the knog mini blinder to extend it but I'm not sure what size handlebars this light could possibly fit on, which seems like a miss.
The light is great and super bright, however, wish the battery lasted for more than a single ride.
Clearly a defective strap but 0 response from them after 2 weeks
light works great and stays super secure , however mine arrived already chipped so slightly concerned about durability :/
