Scout Spare Parts Pack

I ordered the spare parts kit just to get the longer screws so I could secure it more tightly to my bike using the bottle cage mount. It works fine!

Exactly as ordered

My only beef, I don't need replacement screws or hardware. I need a 5 pack of the silicone covers! If I park my bike at my daughters school I come back without the neon colored cover!

I bought the Knog Scout and love it and it’s already prevented one bike theft. However I do wonder if it’s very affordable to buy the security key, couldn’t someone just order it and take it off my bike?

Pack contains parts needed.
I’d damaged a bolt and needed another
I wonder about the environmental impact of including a silicon cover in the parts pack - as its non-recyclable, better to have this as a separate item.
Pack arrived promptly. Only downside was high cost of delivery - more than the cost of the spares!

I purchased the Scout Spare Parts Pack so that I could get a spare wrench for my bicycle maintenance bag I take along when traveling. I didn’t want to forget it in my workshop and then find out I needed it many miles or kilometers from home. Since I don’t use the bright yellow cover that wasn’t needed but the extra wrench was worth the cost of the spare parts pack.
